On March 6, Yan Xiaofeng, President of the China Building Materials Federation (CBMF), met with Zhao Xinjun, Vice President of CBMF and Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and President of Tianshan Materials Company Limited. CBMF Vice President Sun Xingshou and Tianshan Materials Vice President & Chief Engineer Jiang Dehong also attended the meeting.
President Yan Xiaofeng analyzed the current economic landscape of the cement industry and introduced CBMF’s initiatives in carbon neutrality, industrial restructuring, and market-driven high-quality development. He emphasized the importance of industry self-regulation under government guidance, advocating for a systematic, market-oriented approach to tackling issues like anti-monopoly and anti-dumping. He encouraged Tianshan Materials, as a leading state-owned enterprise, to take the lead in green, low-carbon innovation, quality control, and standard-setting, enhancing its competitiveness through product traceability, brand building, and new cement product R&D.
Zhao Xinjun expressed gratitude for CBMF’s long-standing support in policy research, technological innovation, and standards development. He shared updates on Tianshan Materials' participation in CBMF’s key initiatives, including the "Six Zero Factory" program and industry standards development. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to contributing to carbon market development, new technology R&D, and industrial policy research under CBMF’s leadership.
